I vividly remember trying to apply PGP to all my emails, with no luck as newer software rarely implemented it. Still feels like email is wide open — though secure network protocols have certainly helped and drive level encryption keeps things hidden locally. I wonder though if we need more message-level encryption still, it’s not discussed in mainstream almost ever.
